		<description><![CDATA[By the way, I can&#039;t take credit for the idea that there are exactly three conditions necessary for evolution, nor for the idea that it might apply to non-biological systems. These were formulated (or first popularized -- I&#039;m not sure which) by Richard Dawkins in &lt;i&gt;The Selfish Gene&lt;/i&gt;.

I could have talked faster, but I think most viewers will need the time to be able to follow what I&#039;m saying. It&#039;s not a well-known argument.

Thanks for watching! It makes the blog seem not &lt;i&gt;completely&lt;/i&gt; pointless.]]></description>
